"Perfect Setting!"

3-bedroom condo that is very accommodating and comfortable for a family (party of 6). The lanai is the perfect setting for relaxing and whale watching. The beach is at your doorstep and is like your own private area. We lucked out with beautiful weather and amazing sunsets. Property manager, Miranda, was very good to work with. All in all, great spot!

"Perfection"

You can not beat being on the ocean hearing the waves from your bedroom and bathroom. Perfect amount of space for 3 adults and 4 kids. Loved having beach chairs, umbrella and ice chest available to us to use during our stay. The pool area was so clean and we used the bbq every night. Can’t not wait to go back. My kids didn’t want to leave the house or ocean front area. Location, condo and working with Miranda was amazing.

Host Miranda made the process so easy. We were blown away by the view. We loved how close the property was to the water. The pool and all the amenities were great. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived a little early to Hawaii and had freezer stuff in the car. Miranda and her assistant made arrangements for us to put all our refrigerated stuff in the condo before we were able to get in. The place itself is quiet, with it's "Secret Beach", wonderful pool and BBQ . At sunset everyone comes out to marvel at the beautiful sunset and the many kids play lot's of games on the expansive lawn. We've been here before and will very likely return!!!

"Amazing views great location good layout very Dusty"

I loved this property and it being in a small development it was a great way to meet our neighbors and share tips on restaurants and activities. The view from on of the rooms is absolutely amazing. The other two are a good layout but no view and one of the bedrooms gets very little daylight. Very well organized decorated and equipped. The biggest negative for us was the cleanliness of the place. It is clean in general but we found a crusted dirty dish and small frying pan in one of the bedrooms nightstands. The fans are extremely dusty so you end of coughing all night if you leave it on in the bedroom. The rafters in the second master bedroom have dust and webs hanging off the rafters and the AC unit need serious cleaning. But all of this is really on the cleaner and management company. Overall I will definitely come back here again and again.

"Perfect Place to Play and Relax with Family"

Perfect size for our family of 6. Nice pack and play and high chair for my grandson. Appliances are new and Miranda helped us with the few details that needed attention during our stay. The view is unsurpassed— ocean waves will lull you to sleep. The pool is lovely. Truly enjoyed it!

"A week in paradise!"

Location location location. The sound of the waves at night as they put you to sleep and as you wake up having your breakfast on the deck overlooking the ocean, was amazing!! Well stocked kitchen and lovely furnishings.

Beautiful views, extremely loud crashing waves 30 ft from the master bedroom. Had to completely close down the house to sleep. You're right on the beach, all 6 feet in the late afternoon when the tide goes out otherwise the waves just crash on the sea wall 24/7. Pool was great.

"September 2021"

We stayed 6 nights at this quiet property in NW Maui. Amazing views from the master bedroom, kitchen and living area. We enjoyed our coffee from the ocean front lanai each morning. More than enough space for 3 couples. Great kitchen with updated appliances. Grocery, gas, snorkel rental and a handful of restaurants are just down the road. Management was very helpful and responded quickly to questions.

The property is beautiful, well kept, clean, and the perfect location to everything. I have traveled a lot and this is a place I would come back to over and over. The beach right out front, the cute pool, BBQs, beautiful sunrise and sunsets, comfy beds, friendly responsive and accommodating management, well stocked kitchen, beach toys, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, everything! "A little slice of paradise!"

Like earlier reviews stated, pictures do not do this property justice. This place perfectly suited our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and had enough dishes to accommodate our large group of six without having to run the dishwasher each time. The bedrooms were sizable and quiet, each with its own bathroom. The couch and chairs were comfortable. The Lanai opens up to the ocean, a mere 25 feet away. Every morning, you can watch the sun rise and every evening, along with every other occupant in the complex, you watch the sun set (a personal favorite of mine). There is a small beach for you to swim, snorkel or just relax and let the waves lull you to a sense of peace. There is a general store down the road and larger complexes if you need a little bustle. For us, this location was perfectly situated between the coves to snorkel and the beaches to visit. Miranda was quick to respond to our needs and very attentive. Our only disappointment was that the week had to end and we had to go home! We will return for sure!

"Paradise!!!!"

Our family had such a wonderful time staying at unit 2A1 at the Kahana Outrigger! The condo is so beautiful and the views are breathtaking! You will never find a place with a better view of the ocean or the gorgeous Maui sunsets. The condo was very clean and the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare food. Every bed from sofa bed, twin beds and king beds are so comfortable. The location is perfect. You have privacy and yet are close to other beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Miranda was so helpful from the time we made our reservations to the day we left. This was our favorite place to stay so far in Maui and will definitely be back again! Thank you from our family for the wonderful memories.

"Perfect location!"

My 4 teenage daughters (yes 4), my wife and I enjoyed our just over a week stay at the Kahana Outrigger - we knew it was a little further north than the resort areas of West Maui - and it was in the perfect spot - not too far a drive to Napili Beach (our favorite), and only 5-10 minutes from grocery store (SuperMarket Times a little cheaper than the Safeway 10 more minutes away). My kids enjoyed the 1st floor access to the beach and the pool too - as far as noise there was none that you could hear from the condo - some noisy TV watchers in other units that you could hear from the pool and one or two nights some obnoxious guests were in another of the condos - but mostly there with really nice and respectful families. No issues with accessing the BBQ grills - we all took turns - girls termed them the Dad Grill Gang. I would definitely recommend this place to either families or multiple couples as what has been mentioned in other reviews - there are 3 bathrooms in each of the 3 bedrooms. The one by the ocean of course being the best. Place was clean, great Wi-Fi, for when we needed it - great TV but it hardly came on. Property management made check-in really easy with great instructions too. Location was what we wanted - secluded and quiet but close to everything we wanted to do during the day. Thanks!

The property was perfect for our family vacation and just as pictured and described. All the amenities were available- chairs, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards and beach toys. Only comment would be that plumbing seems to be an issue for the complex as a whole- slow draining/toilet flushing issues. Everything else was great!

"Great stay right on beach, exceeded expectations"

Found 2A1 on internet. 3 BR, 3 bath, great for 2 adults 2 teens though listed some places as 2/2. Small balcony with 4 steps down to small calm (June) beach w sand and water 20 feet at most from balcony! Unobstructed ocean views from LR, DR, K, balcony, one BR. Can hear low waves all night--wonderful. Full kitchen, full size fridge. Dine inside or on balcony. Full size w/d. Normal shower water pressure. Window A/C units were updated, did not constantly switch on and off. A non-issue contrary to earlier reviews. No mildewy smells on towels or sheets; unit seemed very clean and sand-free. (Only small issue--all bed pillows the same type foam, would have preferred diversity/ updates.). Unit has designated parking place about a 50 yd walk. Small quiet complex full of similar units; mostly families and couples when we were there, no noisy people. Internet worked fine--could have worked from here. Fantastic sunsets. Pool about 30 yds from unit. Little kids could play in pool or on beach. Multiple snorkle/fin sets, 3 boogie boards, lots of beach towels, cooler, even beach chairs, all come with unit. Easy drives to Napili, Kaapalua, Lahaina. About 45 -60 minutes to airport on North Coast. Management Co. very responsive. Can check-in late via lock box. This is one of the most positive reviews we have ever written on comparative value for money. Would definitely stay again.

"Wonderful place for family"

This was a rescheduled trip from 2020 so we were looking for something amazing. This condo has the promised views and great beach access. It’s a little farther from the “beaten path” than we probably intended, but otherwise everything was excellent! We adjusted to the extra 15-20 minutes to get back to Lahaina proper and all was great.

"Beyond Expectations"

As impressed as I was with photos, descriptions & reviews of this condo when selecting it for our vacation, the actual experience was even better. It felt like our own little piece of paradise. We had 6 adults aged 53-70 and plenty of room for both privacy, when desired, and common space to gather & enjoy each other's company. For 4 of our group it was our first time to visit Hawaii. Everything was fantastic!

"Great location, busy community"

It’s a lovely the place, the only problem is all units are rents and very noisy, especially all the kids activities and screaming until 11-12 at night.

"Spacious condo with amazing views"

Our family of five loved our stay at the Kahana Outrigger. The condo had more than enough space for our family and didn't feel cramped like other condos we've stayed in in the past. You honestly can't beat the views from the lanai and having a private beach just steps away makes for a memorable experience, especially during whale season when humpback whales are breaching in the nearby waters. We definitely hope to return in the near future.

We were two families staying in this beautiful waterfront condo. Everything you could possibly need or want was provided. The kitchen was well stocked. All three bedrooms were very comfortable. Immaculately kept. The views were fabulous!. We saw whales playing in the ocean in front of us daily. Miranda went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. To the point of bridging us for our late night departure in a nearby condo! Thank you Miranda for sharing your beautiful home with us!! Mahalo!! We will definitely be back!!

The Kahana Outrigger has amazing ocean views. We were able to spot whales from the lanai. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. The unit was close to shopping and Lahaina. Our family of 8 was comfortable in the space. Miranda was wonderful to work with.

"Amazing ocean side Rental for large families in a great area"

This is an amazing rental in a great area on Maui that is secluded/quiet but close to fun and exciting activities. Location: located north of Lahaina and south of Kapalua in the small town of Kahana. It is located directly on the beach, which is small but secluded and quiet with nice sand, had great ocean views and we were able to sit out on our back porch and drink coffee every morning while watching the whales breach in the distance. There seemed like there would be coral available for snorkeling in ocean here. There was a couple of restaurants nearby, a snorkel rental shop, and a small food mart.. The house itself was a great size for five people. There were three good-sized bedrooms and three bathrooms all of which were well furnished and in great shape. It was fairly modern and all up-to-date. We were able to cook dinner is in the kitchen for large groups without any problem. The living room looks out over the ocean.
The property manager was incredibly helpful, once even printing something for us and bringing it all the way to the condo. Very responsive to questions over email.There is a single parking spot for each unit. There is a pool that was closed while we were there, for renovations, but was a small and clean. Pool and had a barbecue. I would recommend it HIGHLY.

"We six best friends in 2A1 at Kahana Outrigger"

We three couples stayed at Kahana Outrigger six years ago and enjoyed our second stay just as much as the first. The location is perfect, close to so many great eateries and great shopping. We were right on the beach where we swam, snorkeled and sunbathed. The pool area was so relaxing. One of the best things about this condo complex is there are only 16 units so it's pretty private, not crowded. The view from the lanai was breathtaking, we had so much whale activity to watch! "The location of condo in Maui is great!"

My first impression of condo was that it was right next door to an unkempt private residence. My first morning swim changed my view of the property next door for the better. I was able to watch multiple people clean fish they had caught from a huge net while they listened to Hawaiian music! As my time at condo went on, I realized I was getting a priceless view of what island life is all about. Each morning, they all worked together and cleaned the fish and I later saw their garden. It seemed like it was multi-generational and I found myself staying out in the water in front of the condo longer than I should just to watch them! What a bonus! Back inside the condo, the furniture was beautiful, the island style wood and ceramic decor was fun to look at and use. The other vacationers at the complex were all so nice and we got to meet people from all over the country. The kitchen is well-stocked with what is needed to make meals. There is seating for six at lanai table and at dining table. The picture on website makes it seem like unit is upstairs, but it’s not. The landscaping around complex is lush and gorgeous, FULL of plumeria trees! Overall, the condo is older and does show some wear. Miranda was very helpful with a couple of issues we had and we did share with her some things that needed repairing. Nothing that would affect your stay, however. Some tips for enjoying your stay would be: close up all the windows and blinds in the afternoon and turn on a.c.’s in all rooms, make reservations at Mama’s Fish House, go to Merriman’s for at least a cocktail, and plan on the Sea House for happy hour, bring your bathing suit-beautiful, clear water at that beach, and bring water shoes for beach in front of condo, its rocky, but worth snorkeling in!!!

"Condo met all our needs - was clean - well furnished (good coffee maker & more)!"

We have stayed in this condo each year for the last 4 yrs & plan to return for a 5th. Property manager M. DeSoto is great.

"Best location on Maui"

Location, location, location! While the views in the pictures look incredible the actual experience of staying in this unit for a week exceeded our expectations. The convenience of being 20 steps to the ocean and having our coffee, breakfasts, cocktails, some lunches and some dinners on the Lanai with the incredible view of Molokai, and the whales playing offshore was out of this world. We have been to Maui several times and we find the Kahana, Napili area to be the best part of Maui. Here you feel like you are in an uncrowded paradise, far enough away from the crowds of Lahaina but close enough to go into town when you desire it. The unit was well equipped and clean, and had the perfect bed arrangement for our group with 2 couples and 2 young adults, with 3 BR's with 2 Kings, and 2 Twins. It had plenty of towels, beach towels, beach toys, kitchen tools, etc. Miranda was helpful through the process with information we would need for the trip. The unit had 4 room AC units which were very useful at times to cool the unit. Our only complaint would be that several of the AC units are very noisy and it was difficult to sleep with them on. The one in the King that is away from the Ocean was particularly noisy. It is a downstairs unit and there were young children upstairs the last 2 days of our visit that were heard frequently. We would definitely try to stay in this unit again when we come back.

"Perfect location for January whale watching!"

This is a beautiful, spacious, well equipped condo just steps from a nice sandy private beach and also a great pool/BBQ area. There is a nice grassy area right out front of the lanai for kids to run and play. We spent hours sitting on the lanai watching whales play in the waters between Maui, Lana’i and Molokai.
Be aware that if you’re a light sleeper, the sound of the crashing waves may keep you awake at night!
I would have given this unit 5 stars, but the beds are not the most comfortable. Despite that, we would certainly consider a return visit!

"What a way to start your day!"

Our stay at the Kahana Outrigger was wonderful. Waking up every morning to viewing the island of Molokai, whales and rainbows, what more can you ask for! Our stay for the week offered everyone in our family everything they expected from a Hawaiian vacation. Close to stores, shopping and restaurants made our visit very relaxing. The unit is clean, well stocked and comfortable. The property is meticulously maintained and beautifully landscaped. The beach is a few short steps away. It's small but it's more than adequate. We also took the opportunity to explore other beaches in the area. All are beautiful! The pool is also available but we never used it. The beds are comfortable, nice towels and plenty of dishes and kitchen amenities. We spent every morning enjoying our coffee on the lanai just loving the view. again. Checking in was easy and everything was ready when we arrived. I would definitely stay here Hopefully sooner than later. Mahalo Miranda for your hospitality.

"BEST OF THE BEST!"

We could not have chosen a more perfect unit to accommodate our family of 5. (2 couples/ my adult son) Having our own bedrooms and baths made it so comfortable for all. The floor plan gave each group their privacy as well. Wish we had discovered the spices above the kitchen cabinet sooner...but we survived...bought stuff and left stuff there.
Being on the ground floor and that close to the beach and pool made our stay even more enjoyable. Having only 16 units in the complex is another plus
Miranda was so helpful and understanding. I hope she found that we left the place in wonderful condition. I left notes on the few issues we noted.
If we were to make any recommendations, then I would suggest that new mattresses and bedding be purchased....Otherwise everything was 5 star.
I have already recommended this to close friends, and we plan to return again.

"This is our 5th or 6th time staying at this location. We love everything about it."

The condition of the property externally and internally is fabulous. We utilize the pool and we barbque a lot. The view and sound of the ocean is one of the main reasons we stay here but it is also because of the condition of the property.
It is also well managed by Miranda who is quick to respond to any of our needs which typically isn't much if anything at all. As I stated, we have stayed here multiple times and plan to return again.

"Comfort at Kahana Outrigger"

This, our third summer in same condo at Kahana Outrigger, proved to be another lovely experience. Convenience, comfort, and care says it all. Our party of 4 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 6) enjoyed our location and more...marvelous beaches and nice pool...location is prime. Miranda, you are a great! I hope the owners appreciate you.

"Wonderful property"

We stayed at the unit for five nights with family - a total of six people. The size and layout easily accommodated all of us with privacy. The compound was well maintained. In addition, we had family, who live on the island over for a cookout and the place expanded for everyone to have seating. Both larger bedrooms seemed equal in size which were very generous and the twin bedroom worked for the teenage grandchildren. Our bedroom faced the ocean and was very serene with the sound of waves and the bathroom was lovely with a window
facing the ocean and ambient light provided by skylight. The kitchen was very well stocked, which allowed to cook in. We particularly appreciated the personal island decor - nice wood carvings, pictures and live orchids. The furniture was comfortable as was the bedding. The towels were especially thick
and plentiful.
The proximity to restaurants and grocery stores is good. We ate out at the Hula Grill and Frieda's and shopped at Foodland Farms.
The only reason we gave this four rather than five stars is that the beach was a little too rocky for us. We are from Florida and used to a sandy surface.
This is a very nice property in Maui and would recommend it highly.

Three generations of family in one house for a week! It was perfect. The pool was great for the grandkids. The ocean right off our linai was great for the adults. The proximity to island night spots was very convenient for meals. Yet we felt totally isolated and away from traffic and hustle and bustle with the private beach. My daughter picked fresh mangoes every morning. It was magical and memorable. Very comfortable space. Homey atmosphere and very conduesive to relaxing and enjoying family time.

"Location, Location, Location...Incredible view from lanai, living room and master"

Perfect location, perfect views from lanai and master bedroom of multi-colored blue waters and Molokai. There is an area 20 feet left of the lanai that is shaded and perfect for sitting and watching the waves. Only complaints are that the small window unit A/C in the master is quite noisy and barely sufficient to cool the room at night, and the fridge needs some maintenance as it will barely keep food cool. Beers must be put in the freezer to get cooled down before drinking. Even with these two negatives, we loved our stay here.

Vacationed there with my wife, Daughter, her husband, and my 13 year old Grandson. Everyone gave this vacation a "Perfect 10". They all said it was the perfect place to relax and chill.

"Beautiful waterfront vacation"

A waterfront home you won't soon forget. View was fantastic, and the waves will lull you to sleep. The pool located between the four units, was clean, but cold. It was the exception to see someone in the water. If you're looking for an area to enjoy the sun and tan, this is it! The unit was clean and had a good starter supply of consumables, although we were unable to locate any hot pads. CD player was found inoperable, so we did miss listening to IZ and Doug & Sandy McMaster with their traditional slack key music as we enjoyed our evenings on the lanai. The reserved parking spots are great, but parking on this island is at a premium, so the spaces are very narrow. There are a couple of guest parking spots, but those seemed to be continuously occupied. Arriving after dark can make finding the unit numbers somewhat of a challenge due to limited lighting. The two grills get busy at suppertime, but it's a chance to meet your neighbors and develop new friendships. Being on the first floor still provided a wonderful ocean view, and it was only 6 or 7 steps to reach the front door or lanai from the pool level. On a return summer visit, we would certainly consider staying here again, with the thought that the pool would be warmer.

"Absolutely Stunning!"

The pictures truly do not do this place justice. We loved the floor plan, which gives everyone their privacy but allows for a fantastic panoramic view when you slide open the MBR door to the living room during the day. The air conditioning in all rooms was a much-appreciated plus. The complex is clean and lovely, with beautifully kept grounds and an inviting pool. The unit was beautifully decorated, well-maintained and stocked, and had plenty of room for six adults to spread out. You can walk right off the lanai onto a small beach, with a lovely view. We did not see sea turtles as others have reported, but we did spot a few whales in the distance. Bring your binoculars. Loved the Kahana location, just a short drive north of Lahaina and much less crowded. Everything you need is nearby, most within walking distance. Dolly's Pub and China Boat are literally across the street and we loved them both. Miranda with property management was easy to reach and provided good service. I really just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay in this unit. Hope to return in the near future.

"Wow!"

Broke my heart to leave. Fabulous property, clean, well stocked. You could not have a better location and don't get me started on the view. Walk to Dollies Pub for a drink and snacks. Not more than 10 minutes drive to Kapalua Bay for the best snorkeling. Great beach with turtles. Grocery just down the road. Asked for beach chairs to take in the car for day trips, they seemed to be there before you hung up the phone. You will not go wrong renting this property Enjoy ! Aloha

"Awesome Family Vacation"

The condo was perfect for my family - Grandma, Daughter, 2 grandsons (18 & 24), and grandson's friend (18). The location was right on the ocean (just steps away), with beautiful views from our lanai, just as promised. Great beach and pool, with a nice lawn area for activities. Condo was as described and more - very spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Everyone staying there was very nice and friendly. Close to Lahaina, great restaurants and shopping, and would recommend the Old Lahaina Luau, which was a beautiful and great experience for everyone. Overall, would highly recommend staying here, and we can't wait to come back. Rental Agent was great to work with and took care of all of our needs. A trip my family will never forget!

"Wonderful Stay"

The condo was just exactly as described, with the location closest to the ocean (just steps) than all the other properties in the complex. Although the others weren't far 😉 It also has a great lanai for watching the (amazing) sunsets each evening. We saw whales every day and so many turtles we lost count. They feed along the sea wall next door at high tide (afternoon). Also, unit was very close to the pool and bbq's, which we used almost every single night. We were five adults and one baby (5 months). It worked out great size wise as well. Except for the unexpected ceiling leak from the condo above us, everything was really wonderful about this place. The Property Manager (and her nice daughter) handled the situation perfectly. They had boogie boards and some snorkel stuff, which we added to, as well as other beach items for the next guest. It was a lovely place, run by lovely people. The only negative at all was that it would have been nice to have had a larger frying pan for cooking large batches of potatoes and eggs in the mornings. Other than that, well stocked. Appreciated the electric juicer too! The washer and dryer were so helpful as well. Also I saw inside a couple of the other bottom units and this one seemed to be the best decorated. 😉 Thanks for a great stay!

"September Vacation"

Six it us had a wonderful vacation: 2 grandmother, their children and 2 granddarlings (ages 3 and 14 mos). It was such a comfortable and spacious place. The listing was accurate in all things. Owner was very helpful. Lahaina, in close driving distance, with entertainment and more. Beach and pool all we could want. Other guests were friendly and gracious.
There was some repair going on - roof, etc. Pans with teflon coating (some peeling) -suggest replacements. Other than that, it was a marvelous vacation time and we hope to return. We highly recommend this property! And, again, owner was VERY accommodating.

"Best Beach Proximity..EVER!"

My husband and I stayed here in September 2012. We wanted the extra bedrooms for family that would be coming over for a visit. Everything was as shown in the photos and met our expectations. We didn't use the BBQ, but the outside area was also clean.

We had reservations at a few of our favorite restaurants, Gerard's, Merriman's, Roy's and Mama's. We also found a new favorite... Honu which is located near Lahaina... I must highly recommend their Bruchetta appetizer! Ono!

Everything was perfect and in working order. Waking to the sound of the waves, sitting and having coffee, cocktails, breakfast or lunch (thank you for the wonderful kitchen) on the Lanai and watching rainbows across the channel by Molokai just steps from the ocean was all I needed for my vacation. No one has mentioned the beautiful lawn separating the two units closest to the ocean. Plenty of space for kids to play! The private, sandy beach was perfect for a morning walk and access to great swimming in the ocean.

The only drawback to the stay was the swimming pool... the deep end... isn't deep. Not only was touching bottom easy, there was no way you could do otherwise... 4-4.5 feet deep. However, it was clean and there were numerous lounges for sunbathing!

"THE BEST PLACE TO STAY!!!! HANDS DOWN!"

Aloha! My soon to be husband and family (total of 7 of us) stayed in this unit for 7days not knowing what to expect... it was all of our first times in Maui and chose this place based on location and the amount of bathrooms! When we arrived our jaw opened in AWE! the view from the lanai is to die for. BREATHTAKING! the master bedroom that faces the ocean is just gorgeous and hearing the ocean waves through the night was so relaxing. The decoration is up to date and modern. It was very clean and had no problems with anything there, other than the fact, we were not there long enough! The pool was perfect! the tempurature, the cleanliness, and size. The biggest bonus was not having to deal with a "hotel crowd". I hope to re-visit soon and if so, we will be staying here again without hesitation.

"Beautiful views!"

This condo offers an excellent location right on the ocean. You can see whales from your lanai in February. We loved it! I would not hesitate to stay here again and it worked out well for 3 couples staying together. We had to turn the two twins into a king bed but they were easy to move. The only thing I that could be better is the parking. If you have more than one car then you will likely be parking in the street. There isn't much visitor parking, but other than that I can't think of anything that I would change. Thank you for the great experience!

"Glorious 10 days"

We had a wonderful 10 days at this Kahana Outrigger condo. The location was perfect for exploring the hiking trails at Kapalua, and the snorkeling at Kahekili Beach. The view from the lanai is so beautiful that we made a point of having every breakfast on the lanai, and spending every sunset there with our mai tais. The take out food from nearby Dollie's Pub, and Honokowai Okazuya deli was delicious. Dinners at closeby Kapalua Pineapple Grill, Lahaina Mai Tai, Mala and Merriman's were memorable. The condo was so comfortable, clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. We were 2 couples, so did not use the 3rd bedroom with twin beds. It was so convenient to have the washer and dryer right there in the condo. In November, the weather was beautiful, so we did not need the air conditioning, and just used fans, of which there were numerous types to choose from. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo to friends and family. We will be back!!

"Oh my gosh, it's a year s..."

Oh my gosh, it's a year since we stayed in this amazing unit and I still dream about it at night! The moment we walked in (and it was a night time arrival), we knew we were in for a treat! The sound of the waves breaking on the beach just steps from our spacious patio couldn't have been a better introduction to this condo. My husband and I were there on our honeymoon with our 5 grown kids (I know, I know...on our HONEYMOON!?) and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms to go around. Having the laundry facilities right there in our unit was perfect and the owner even had a closet with beach gear so those of us who didn't bring snorkeling things didn't need to rent. The unit is far enough away from the huge hotel complexes that we felt like we were in our own corner of paradise but close enough to take part in the touristy activities if we wanted to drive to Lahaina. We took walks every day in our cute neighborhood and found the best snorkeling beaches tucked away up the coast a short drive away. Since we had so many hungry mouths to feed, we shopped at Costco and made several meals using their gas barbecues. The pool area was nice, the grounds are green and beautiful, and there is plenty of offstreet parking complete with mango trees! This place is a jewel!

We had a wonderful time in our Kahana Outrigger condo, VRBO unit #47806. Being so close to the ocean, and listening to the waves at night were a real plus. The unit was a perfect size for 3 couples, and it was clean and nicely furnished. The grounds were impeccable, thanks to the capability of Bill, the very friendly and helpful groundskeeper. We certainly will be recommending this property to our friends, and hope to come back again real soon. Oh - the weather was PERFECT, and the rainbows beautiful!

We truly loved the location of this condo. Hearing the waves crash against the beach was the best! We would have liked to have known prior to arriving that the Air Conditioning was 2 window units. In addition, the furnishings and linens are in need of updating.

We have just gotten home after a weeklong stay at the condo. It is beautiful-perfect! The location is perfect and it is in a very quiet/tropical setting. The groundskeeper worked every day and you could tell - the upkeep is great. Perfect for 3 couples. We would definitely go back to this condo and would recommend it to anyone.

Our visit in January 2005 was out-
standing. The pictures really don't do the unit justice; a virtual tour would be better. The unit is the closest one to the water in this low density, boutique development. The views of Molokai and Lanai are spectacular. We have stayed in Maui on many occasions; this was by far the nicest, best located place we have stayed. Management was very helpful & responsive.
