We think that the Kuleana has it all: one of West Maui's largest heated pools, a private tennis court, barbecues on the ocean, bocce ball, shuffleboard, a lovely lobby area with table tennis available, and excellent snorkeling.

Whether you are looking for a "private" beach, a swim in a heated pool or just want to take a few steps out to a lanai that almost reaches the beach, you will find it in our condo. You can sit on the lanai and watch the whales frolick (during the season) or watch the surfers and the beautiful sunsets over the islands of Lana'i and Molokai. Our unit is stocked with all of the accessories that you need including beach towels, chairs and linens for a perfect Maui vacation. Starter sets for the bathroom and kitchen are provided along with wifi internet and parking.
Entrance to the ocean is from a sea ladder at one end of the property, and from a secluded beach cove at the other end. One of the big surprises at Kuleana is the grounds. Paths lead you in and out of the many sitting and meditation spots located along its long ocean coastline. Each unit is only about fifty feet from the water, giving fabulous ocean views, framed by palm trees. Each evening tiki torches are lit along the coast to enhance that special romantic moment of seeing a Maui sunset. A full service laundry facility is a few steps from your front door. Unit provided with laundry detergent for your use.

You can’t beat the view from this condo! Great view of the water and a beautiful garden below the balcony. The grounds are very peaceful and quiet, and the condo had everything we needed. There’s plenty of restaurants and markets nearby, even walkable if you don’t mind a little jaunt. The patio furniture and beach chairs have a bit of wear and tear but they worked for us! We loved staying here and would recommend!

We loved staying here. The view was amazing with nothing blocking it! This 2nd floor room also looks down onto the little courtyard below. Gardens were beautiful. There were so many little extras that made things especially nice. Included are 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a playmate cooler, ice packs in the freezer and an ice maker in the refrigerator freezer! Everything was so clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare meals (including blender, toaster and rice cooker). The bedroom had extra pillows and I even saw a pack and play crib in the closet for anyone with a baby or toddler. The bed was queen and was a little soft/bouncy for us but we did sleep comfortably all week. We ate all our meals out on the balcony/lanai and enjoyed the sound of the waves and gorgeous sunsets every evening. Highly recommend this place!

Pros-Beautiful view from condo. Maintained unit. Kitchen fully stocked. Appreciated starter supplies. Cons- size seemed smaller than in pictures and little to no shade on the lanai in the afternoon. Overall-would recommend.

Beautiful view and relaxing get away. Nicely furnished, clean, well stocked. The units is only a short drive to Lahaina, Whaler's Village, and an easy walk to Duke's Maui Restaurant. Miranda was very responsive.
"Why Did We Have to Leave?!"
What a delightful experience! This condo was exceptionally clean, had wonderful amenities, and a view that was absolutely breathtaking. The location was wonderful--steps away from the beach, with a beautiful "boardwalk" connecting close by properties, making it easy to get to other properties and restaurants (like the famous Duke's! We didn't eat there, but passed by several times). Loved the proximity to the supermarket and the local fruit markets as well. Everyone we ran into on the property was friendly, and we were delighted that it was so quiet...felt like our own little private getaway. The true test of a rental, to me, is always "would we stay here again?" And our answer here was an absolute YES!
